The Horgelus vineyard is located on the boundary between the Ténarèze and the Bas-Armagnac regions. ARMAGNAC VSOP

 

 

TASTING : Fruity nose with aromas of quetsche (plum), followed by notes of gingerbread and vanilla. The mouth is already very soft, ample, and has a nice sweetness.

DISTILLATION : continuous distillation method typical for Armagnac with wood fireplace.

AGEING : traditional method in toasted French oak barrels (Gascony wood) from the day of distillation to the bottling.

TASTING : Dominated by notes of blond tobacco, the nose also offers aromas of dried fruits (grapes and apricots) but also dates. The palate is definitely generous and unctuous and ends with a toasted aftertaste.

TASTING : Subtle and bewitching, the nose mixes notes of candied fruit and rancio, with some cigar box aromas. The attack on the palate is particularly delicate, elegant, with a smoky persistence on the finish.
